I'm Stephen, the person behind Nichols Bookkeeping. For fifteen years I've helped small business owners get out from under their books. From contractors, shops, nonprofits, wholesalers, and everyone in between.

I hold an MBA in Finance from the University of La Verne, and I bring that training to every set of books I touch. But what my clients value most is simpler than that: they work with me directly. I learn your business, I know your numbers, and I'm the one who picks up the phone.

My career has covered the full spectrum of American business. I learned discipline and precision in the accounting office at ITT, a publicly traded corporation. I learned speed inside startups like uShip and HomeAway, where financial clarity could make or break the next quarter. And I've supported small and mid-size companies through every stage of growth in between.

Through it all, one thing became clear, working with small businesses is what I find most rewarding. There's nothing like watching an owner see clean books, tax-ready numbers, and a clear picture of where they stand. Then get back to doing what they love. That's why I built this practice around businesses like yours.

I'm based in Glendora, California. Most of my clients are here in the San Gabriel Valley, but I work remotely with small businesses anywhere in the U.S.
